Key Stage 3 students follow a structured timetable and teaching sessions are based on the national curriculum. With continued emotional support, children are able to further develop in an environment that aims to meet their individual needs.
Core Subjects: English, Maths, Sciences, and Computing are delivered using work set from Base School, or by following KS3 resources from various providers. For students on a long term basis we deliver our bespoke Schemes of Learning (SoL), which will be accredited with the appropriate level qualification (subject to approval from Base School).
Reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development aligned to the national curriculum.
Number, algebra, geometry and problem-solving with structured, step-by-step support.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics foundations with scientific enquiry and reasoning skills.
Digital literacy, coding fundamentals, and functional skills in computing and ICT.
Through teacher-led discussions, activities, workshops and personal life examples, students learn about the 5 strands of emotional intelligence:
Students identify their strengths and weaknesses in accordance with age and oratory skills.
Students learn about the 9 personality types using the Enneagram model (Riso, 2012) to understand and regulate behaviour.
Our Key Stage 3 offer supports students with both academic skills and life skills, preparing them for their future role within society.
We work closely with base schools, families and the student themselves to create a supportive, personalised learning experience that builds confidence alongside academic progress.
